A1 Technologies has been ranked #1 in the Micro Business category on Australia’s Best Workplaces in Technology 2026 list, marking our second consecutive year in the top spot.
The ranking, published annually by Great Place To Work Australia, is based on direct employee feedback and recognises organisations that create consistently positive workplace experiences built on trust, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. According to the 2026 results, 100% of A1 Technologies employees said A1 is a great place to work, compared to 60% at a typical Australian company.
While we’re incredibly proud of the recognition, the award itself isn’t the goal. The goal has always been to build a workplace where people enjoy coming to work, feel supported to contribute, continue learning, and have the opportunity to grow their careers alongside the business. Capturing our team’s responses and verbatim feedback through the Great Place To Work Australia survey gives us a chance to implement changes the team want to see and to ensure we all have a voice to shape the culture here at A1 Technologies.
Culture Isn’t About Perks
When people talk about workplace culture, it’s easy to focus on surface level benefits but for us culture has always been central to who we are. It’s about creating an environment where people feel comfortable sharing ideas, challenging assumptions, asking questions, and supporting each other. It’s about trust, accountability, continuous learning and giving people meaningful opportunities to contribute.
Those principles have guided A1 Technologies since day one and continue to shape how we work today. Culture has always been the core driver of our business strategy and one of our key differentiators. As outlined in our company values, we place a strong emphasis on:
- A people-centric approach
- Accountability and ownership
- Integrity and ethical conduct
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Continuous learning and growth
These values aren’t posters on a wall or hidden away in a strategy documented once a year and never reviewed again. They’re reflected in how we work together, how we support our customers and how we make decisions as a business.
Growing Without Losing What Makes Us Different
Over the past year, A1 Technologies has continued to grow across Australia and New Zealand. We’ve welcomed new team members, expanded our capabilities and continued supporting more organisations with Microsoft cloud, security and managed services solutions.
Growth is exciting, but it can also challenge the culture that helped create that success in the first place. Maintaining our culture while growing has been one of our biggest priorities. Winning this award for a second year suggests we’re continuing to get that balance right.
Why Culture Matters to Our Customers
This recognition isn’t just about creating a great place to work. We believe great customer outcomes start with engaged, supported and empowered people. When employees feel trusted, valued and connected to the organisation, they’re more likely to collaborate, solve problems, take ownership and go the extra mile for customers. That’s particularly important in technology, where strong client relationships, responsive support and continuous improvement are critical to success.
Our culture isn’t separate from the work we do. It’s a big part of how we deliver it.
Thank You to Our Team
Receiving this recognition from Great Place To Work Australia for a second consecutive year reinforces the importance of continuing to invest in our people as we grow. This recognition belongs entirely to our people.
Thank you to every member of the A1 Technologies team for helping create a workplace built on trust, collaboration, learning and shared success. We’re proud of what we’ve built together and excited about what’s next.
